Exo-space: ETA 3 minutes to Exit, Destination: Ket-Esh Station

Exo-space was an odd quasi-dimension that was tied to normal space but at the same time out of sync with it. This lead to an odd distorted view of the normal universe as light from the normal universe twisted and did all sorts of wierd things. This was one of the many ways IGCC ships traveled faster than light.

The BWDS Galiga, a ten kilometer long Dreadnaught, zipped through Exo-space next to the convoy of freighters and cargo ships headed for Principality space. The Galiga's job was to escort the convoy through dangerous space when they had to exit Exo-space and triangulate a new Exo-entry point. During that time the convoy was susceptible to pirate and raider attacks. Thankfully the Bureau of War and Defense sent at least one capitol ship on escort duty out side of IGCC space, so few pirates ever tangled with traversing cargo convoy's from the IGCC.

Escort Admiral T.S. Hellios watched out of the view port as the fleet of frieghters made their way through Exo-space. This sight was an odd one as the light of a thousand plus stars were warped by the Exo-space. The odd explosions of light and radiation caught from the death throws of a long dead star added a beautiful accent to the background. It made a marvelous contrast against the grey metal bulkheads of the ship and that of her kin.

"Sir, we're about to come out of Exo-space," an ensign came up behind him.

"Thank ensign, tell the helm to prep for real-space, and relay to Principality Space Control we have a few more ships than first planned, but they'll be leaving soon after we arrive,"

"Yes sir, right away," the ensign ran off to bridge from the captain’s quarters.

Ealio, Deep space

The fleet of about three hundred ships exited Exo-space in a briliant flash as trapped energies from Exo-space burst forth once more into real space. The ships of the Consortium fleet slowly made their way at Third-Power toward the Ket-Esh station and the moon of Colweam to drop off their cargo of goods perchased from Member-State with in the IGCC.

(OOC note: First post NRP'ing, hope it's okay)

Commonwealth Parliament, 1 week prior to the summit.

The Grand chamber of the Commonwealth Parliament was rarely open or used in the normal day to day life of the Commonwealth. However, today was different. The Parliament was commencing a ceremony that was normally used when sending an ambassador to a location. The Grand chamber was a large semi circular chamber, that could be compared to a old Roman Theatre, if it wasn't for the modern seats and desks on each of the 10 giant step's down to a Golden Throne where the Monarch would sit this was a common mistake to make, Between the two Quarter Circles where the members of parliament would sit (Chosen Representatives on the front row, and Assembly members behind them) were two seats where the Speakers for both chambers would sit. Surrounding the chambers upper level were what was known as Royal Templars, these soldiers usually in the shiniest armour possible had the royal seal on their armour and made sure that they were always at 5 degrees angles to the throne, excluding the door of course.
The Royal Chamberlain of the Parliament was standing in front of the throne about 10 feet to be exact, just before him were 4 seats, no backs just cloth seats. He calmly looked up to see the roof, which was a picture of the night sky, which he always wondered why mainly because of the fact that it was day. He looked up to see Two Templars walk in with a procession of 4 cabinet members wearing official commonwealth robes, the Royal Commission had arrived.

The Chamberlain clearly spoke “Who are these People, Knight Commander. They are not of the Royal house.” “They are on behalf of her majesty, a Royal Commission has been sealed.” The Chamberlain calmly nodded before bowing “Royal Commission, It is an honour for you to grace us with your presence. Your Seats have been kept safe and protected.” The Commission members nodded as they descended, two on the left hand Stairs, Two on the right. As they arrived and Sat Down, the Chamberlain calmly looked at the Two Templars “Knight Commanders, summon the Assembly and the State Council. Her Majesty's Commission requires their presence.” He announced to the Two Templars who bowed their heads before turning around synchronised with each other and began to walk down the Royal Corridor to the Entrance chamber of the Parliament.
This whole tradition has long since been part of the Telian way of life, some compare it to the British Parliament, a very good comparison. As the Royal Templars walked into the Entrance Chamber, a grand chamber with statues of important Prime Ministers and Monarchs they arrived directly in the middle and turned so they were facing their respective chamber. They then perfectly synchronised with each other began their march towards the chambers. The Left Templar unlike the Right though have the two commonwealth Guards to block their path as the shout of “Stop the Templar!” came from the chamberlain of the Assembly. The Templar calmly unsheathed his sword, but instead of cutting the troops down he banged it on the floor 5 times, the guards returned to their position but saluted as the Templar walked through. On the Right side though he calmly stopped in front of the chamber and announced “Is her Majesty's Templar allowed in?” Which got the reply from the chamberlain of the council “Her Majesty's Templar is allowed.” With that approval the Templar walked in.
The Left Templar entered a Rectangular chamber, it was the Assembly chamber, no fanciness in here, but it was more modern with each assembly member having their own computer, the chamber itself was half packed with humans, Telians and a few other races. The Speaker who sat in the middle between the two sides stood up calmly and bowed to the Templar before he asked “what can her Majesty's representative do for us today?” “The Royal Chamber requires you with Haste.” The Templar informed the Speaker who stood up and approached the Templar. The Chamberlain of the assembly picked up the Assembly Shield before joining the Templar and began a procession back to the entrance chamber, the three Coalition Leaders walked behind them, then the Two Opposition leaders and then 2 of each member from both sides. They were keeping quiet which showed respect to the monarch's representative.
The Right Templar entered a Circular chamber however, each representative sitting down. Unlike the other which had a Speaker, Had the Representative of Telia preside over it. This position is usually elected through the representatives though, and it's usually a neutral person. “Does the Royal Chamber Require our Presence, Right Honourable Representative?” came the Question from the Telia Representative. “Aye, the chamber requires your presence.” The Templar answered before turning on the spot, the Chamber, unlike the Assembly usually leaves before the Telia Representative as the last one left, the Representative finished the procession as they returned to the entrance Chamber.

The entrance chamber's public galleries at this point had usually filtered out as the Press and Political correspondents file into the Royal Chamber's gallery to get the good seats, but if they did they would of seen probably the best well timed section. Nobody properly knows how, but both Templars arrive with their Processions at the same time as the Two bow their heads at one another, It is usually the assembly that bow to the Council before the Council Templar takes his procession in first to the Royal Chamber, as the Representative of Telia finishes the Assembly Procession follow. Once all are seated in the royal Chamber the Speaker usually sits first as the Representative of Telia announces to the royal Commission “The Parliament is assembled, Royal chamberlain.” With that announcement, she sits down.
The Royal Commission it should be noted are usually 4 members of the cabinet that are related too what is being announced, this time round Shia Gen the foreign Minister, Prime Minister Veri Nye and the two ambassadors for the commonwealth that were being sent off were the Commission. Shia stood up calmly to speak before speaking clearly. “Her Majesty's councillors and Assembly members. Her Majesty Queen Nima, by the grace of the royal Templars and her population which she serves and protects diligently, Protectorate of the Telians, humanity and all other races that are commonwealth citizens, may her reign be long and plentiful has decided to setup this commission to send two of it's members to the Station of Ket-esh at the planet of Ealio. These two members will seek to assert her majesty's authority and will leave with great haste. By her Majesty's will, she has asked that anybody objecting to this send off speak now.” Shia calmly paused waiting, after about 40 seconds she continued “then by the Royal Seal, the Ambassador Tom Neumann of humanity and Ceres Atun of Telianity will be sent to ket-esh station. Her Majesty's will has spoken, Ut suus venia mos is sic is fio.” (As her grace wills, so it be done.) With that Shia sat down as the assembly and the council left. When they were gone, the royal Commission stood up, turned to the throne and bowed before proceeding out. The Royal Chamberlain watched calmly before walking off towards a side door.

Commonwealth of Sonra Embassy, Ket-Esh station, Present day

Ceres calmly and politely looked at the ambassador's royal robes. “Think this is too much, tom?” she asked her human counterpart. “Nah, you'll be fine.” Tom reassured, her dress was that of a close Kimono, except it had an official Commonwealth Logo he stared at the Telian in front of her, although she had purple skin, her silver hair made it look rather attractive, it wasn't for the fact that she was seeing another guy he'd ask her out. The two had though worked together for along time, they had a royal commendation so it showed they were doing something right. He stared at the mirror, his black hair although made him younger than he actually was, he was 34, but well experienced. He had thanked god for the fact he didn't look too stressed. Ceres chuckled “almost show time. Heard of that new delegate from Selia?” “Aye, aye. They appear not to be interested with trade, so the rules of the game with them have changed.” Ceres let out a nod. “Let's go, hate to keep them waiting.”
The two stepped out to the two guards standing to attention at the doors to show respect. As Ceres looked at the corridor she still couldn't believe it's grandeur. “well, this way then.” Tom replied as the pair began to walk off. The Two kept quiet, but if they did speak, the spoke in Telian mainly so not to cause too much hassle.

Ealio, High Orbit, Ket-esh Station, Bay Lobby 23

Ambassador Mola-iqug, clad in his ceremonial dull orange exo-suit, waited with his entourage for the Reich Emissary to arrive, the group ignoring, as was understandable, the biological refreshments most of the others were partaking of, his large form waiting patiently still, standing quite nonchalantly. He still had another few millennia to live, a few minutes made no difference. A curious point, he thought, I've become so accustomed to being with biologicals that I've come to think I am the equivalent of a 'male' of their species. Quite curious indeed. And, as he pondered this without moving, the bright, brass tinted faceplate of his suit emotionless, the Reich ship came into view outside the station, along with its own entourage, and Mola prepared for the emissary.

---Soon thereafter---

As the Reich shuttle docked, many of the other dignitaries quickly hushed and paid unwavering attention to the vessel, whilst the Aboraz just sat, their status changing little. As the Reich Ambassador, a female human going by the name of Anna Shultz, was approached by an emissary of the Technocracy, one who Mola thought he remembered as... Aelfric Anstov? Maybe not, Mola was old, having lived for well over twenty three terran centuries, and in that time much happened, a good deal to remember, a good deal... not every detail could be recalled to a tee... But, as the Technocrat finished, Mola made his way forward, his heavy steps ringing out in the silence, and he stopped suddenly as a hiss echoed thourought the room, his head swiveling to the ramp of the shuttle, and he watched, frozen as four marines descended from the vessel, and listened as they spoke. Only after they finished did he continue, his violet cloak trailing behind him, as he finally approached the woman, who, in comparison to himself, was a dwarf, his seven foot six inch suit towering over her, and as he placed his hand on the left breast of his suit, and drawing it across his chest in the civil Aboraz salute, spoke, pausing at moments to find the right word, and often using improper grammar,

"Miss... Shultz... It is an... honor, to welcome you to... our... station. I do... hope you shall enjoy your stay."

Drawing his left arm in a sweeping gesture in the direction behind him, he continued,

"Myself and my entourage... would be most... eager to guide you and your... escort to your... home, aboard the station."

Waiting for a response, the Aboraz stood, unmoving.

As the Admiral came onto the scene and made his pompous remark, Anna nearly slapped him. She wanted to yell right into his face that he was more likely to cause an international incident. But, after nothing more then an irritated glance at him, she nodded at the Aboraz Ambassador approached her.

He first saluted her, she recognized the gesture quite well from her studies, and she returned it flawlessly. Then he spoke, a halting, robotic voice. She listened with a neutral expression, a very slight smile on her face.

When it was clear the Aboraz was finished, Anna spoke. "It is an honor meeting you, good Ambassador Mola-iqug," she said, seeing the file on the ambassador she'd looked over on the trip there in her mind's eye, and flashed a smile showing very white teeth. "I would be delighted if you showed us to our quarters," she continued, crisp but professionally friendly.
------------

Admiral Tiric wasn't the least bit amused by their reception. It seemed they'd sent a centuries-old robot to greet them. His perpetual frown turned lower, if that was possible, as Miss Shultz gave him a glare. Apparently, he wasn't supposed to be here. Oh well, too late now. They seemed to about to be shown to their quarters.
